Its important to know how to hold the brush and use the right strokes to blend efficiently. An easy way to learn using a brush is start using a liquid foundation. Pour a small amount on your hand and than pick some with your brush and apply to areas where you need it. Keep blending till you get the even tone across your skin. Never dab the foundation on your skin directly and then use the brush to blend. Also use separate brushes for the different part of the faces as required. Each item of the makeup has a different size and style of brush for correct application.
Eyelid brushes have smaller pads on their end of thin hard material on the other hand lip brushes are designed with fine bristles to apply lipstick, gloss or lip liner. Face brush is the biggest of make up brushes and is available in different sizes with handles and bristles of varying sizes. Blusher brush is soft and full and allows you to apply blush across the cheeks in swift motion. Wedge shaped sponges are the best one you must use for covering a large area quickly. Always wet the sponge before use then put the product on it. The best way to use sponge is apply a rolling motion and not dabbing one. Fingers are also a good way to apply make up too, but remember to use make in very small quantity. |
